Oh, Christmas Tree

I am thrilled with the awesome Christmas tree we got this year.  We went to a tree lot near our house, and my husband walked up to this tree first thing.  We pretended to look at other trees, but we knew right away this one was ours.  So, we took all 12 feet of her home.

We lucked out big time and she was a perfect fit.  A small trim to the top her and we were ready to decorate.

Here is the finished product:

It took me forever, and A LOT of ornaments, but it is so worth it now.  Most of the ornaments come from the Target Be Merry Collection, but some came from our local Sprinkler World that turns into a Christmas shop during the winter months (love it!).  I should mention that my husband doesn't believe in Christmas lights on the tree, so we don't have any of those.  Surprisingly, I don't miss them one bit.

How can he not believe in Christmas lights on the tree? He is the first person I have ever heard of that doesn't like them. But your tree still looks good without them. But just think how much more spectacular it would be with lights? I'm just giving him a hard time. He has every right not to want lights. I would just have to divorce him if I was married to him. I'm still kidding. Thanks for sharing your tree. I do love the colors.

I hear my good name is being slandered... I have repented of my evil ways and we'll be using Christmas lights next year.

Eric, its not slander if its true.

Kim, I love your comment! He has a small point about the lights being unsightly in the day time when you can see the wires, but we will have lights next year, don't worry =)

Lights are the best part of Christmas. Go toward the lights.
