We're winding down with the As Is home tour today and tomorrow, so lets check out the guest bedroom today. We're very lucky to have grandparents, siblings, and the occasional friends stay with us often, so a space for them to call their own was really important to me.
This room was the easiest to design. I chose bedding I loved, took a pillow to Home Depot to color match the paint, and there you have it. Right now, this is the spot for misfit furniture. It all works though.
My three favorite things in the room: the mirrors on the wall, another custom sign like the one in the kitchen from my mom, and the slowly filling penny jar. I love anything with our names on them, monograms too. I am hoarding pennies for no reason other than that I think copper looks good with the other colors in the room. No other coins are allowed in that jar.
