The Kitchen

Welcome to the final day of the As Is Home Tour =(  Its a little bit sad that its over, but it means we get to move onto new and exciting things, so that's happy =)

Let's go out with a bang...the kitchen is the room for most people, but for me, eh.  Its nice enough, sure, but I am not a cook, and I don't spend much time in there.  Like I said before, we're bathroom kind of people.  Anyway, back to the kitchen:

Before I filled it full of junk:

Before I show you any of my pictures let me say this:

1. I am currently enrolled in a photography class.  I will get better =)

2. I got in a crunch and had to take these pictures at night.  My bad.

Now, onto the show.

About all I've done in the kitchen is add accessories above the cabinets.  The accessories are mostly things I already owned with a few Ikea things thrown in.  Its not perfect, but it beats dead space and didn't cost much money.

I am definitely fighting the all too common red kitchen theme, so I have tried to add little pops of green where I can:

The kitchen also houses what I lovingly refer to as "LauraLand."  It is my crafting space, and I love it.  Its the only space in the whole house that is exclusively mine.

This little spot on the random wall jutting out is my favorite:

The sign and dish rack were gifts from my mom, and they are perfect.  The stuff on the table is ever changing, so I don't get attached to much there.  In case you were wondering, the whole thing is not totally slanted.  I am definitely working on my camera skills before the next home tour.  Like I said, photography class.
