Found Art: Pride and Joy Edition

This is THE map.

My husband found it on ebay just after we were married.  I didn't really know what it was or what it meant to him, but I could tell how much he wanted it.  So, I went along with him, and I have never regretted it for a second.  It has become our pride and joy and hangs in our living room above our fireplace:

The map, originally used to distinguish land rights in Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania, is now our "art."  We had it framed and preserved with special glass at BYU's bookstore.  BYU's framing services do great, inexpensive work if you're in the area.

The best part of all, those (Hornes) are our people (which is why my husband wanted it):

Your homework assignment for the weekend is to look around your house for your own found art.  I bet you have more than you realize.  I'll be back on Monday with a few more things to share.  Have a good weekend and don't worry too much about your homework ;)
